# Pixore

Pixore brings batch image and file tools into Visorn: resize and extend images, compress PNG and JPEG files, cut images into pieces, convert bit depth, replace content, and rename files with optional AI assistance.

Version **0.2.0** is the official paid-store release. See [the listing](https://visorn.dev/extensions/pixore/) for the current price and one-time purchase terms. Purchases are separate from other Visorn extensions and require a Visorn account. One purchase activates Pixore on up to **5 devices**.

## Tools

- **Resize:** batch sizing, crop/extend anchors and pretrim controls with previews.
- **Compression:** PNG palette quantization with quantizr plus OxiPNG; JPEG encoder options including MozJPEG and Guetzli on Windows.
- **Scissors:** manual and automatic image cutting, with batch export.
- **Bit depth:** palette and color-depth conversions, including grayscale JPEG output.
- **Replace:** browse workspace directories and apply content replacement to selected files.
- **Renamer:** build and preview rename plans; optional AI uses the model configured in Visorn.

Image and file processing runs locally. Only optional AI requests are sent through the provider you choose; that provider bills model usage separately. The price does not include API credits. Back up important files before batch writes or renames.

## Install and activate

1. Use a current Visorn build with the paid Pixore baseline and signed preinstalled-extension updates. Older builds that shipped Pixore as free need an app update first.
2. Open **Settings → Extensions**, install or update Pixore, and review its permissions.
3. Open Pixore's licence card in Settings, sign in, and purchase or restore your purchase.
4. Open **Pixore** from the panels or the **Pixore: Open panel** command.

The signed receipt supports up to **30 days** offline with re-validation every **14 days** while online. These are receipt validation windows, not the duration of the one-time purchase. Approved full refunds revoke the service entitlement at the next online validation.

The supplied native encoder binaries target **Windows x64**. Other platforms use the available JavaScript codec paths; native encoder choices are not promised on macOS, Linux or Windows ARM.

## Permissions

- `fs.read:workspace`, `fs.write:workspace`: selected image/file operations within the workspace.
- `webview.hostMedia`: image previews in the panel.
- `webview.clipboardWrite`: copy generated content.
- `storage`: persist tool settings.
- `ui.notify`: report job results.
- `ai.invoke`: optional AI-assisted naming, through your configured model provider.

## Software licence

Pixore's software and original artwork remain **Apache-2.0**, as recorded in `LICENSE`. The official store sells signed distribution and account/device activation through Visorn; this does not remove rights granted by the software licence. Third-party components keep their own terms in `THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md` and `licenses/`.
